About
I build businesses that fit the people who run them.
Strategist. Co-CEO partner. Performance optimization, for the founder who's done performing.
The story
Most of the people I work with are not short on ideas, effort, or talent. They're short on a business that actually fits them — one built on what's true, not on whatever funnel was trending the quarter they started.
I'm Kellie Adkins. I work as a performance optimization strategist and, for a handful of founders at a time, as a co-CEO partner — in the strategy with you, accountable to the outcome. My clients are independent service providers, mission-driven organizations, and female founders who lead with discernment and have run out of patience for motivational theater.
The throughline of my work is simple to say and hard to do: build deliberately, on evidence, on your own terms. That means subtracting before adding, deciding faster on the things that are reversible, and building slowly on the things that aren't. It means treating your energy as the real budget. And it means refusing the version of success that costs you the life you were optimizing for.
There's a body of contemplative science underneath all of this — about attention, self-trust, paced performance, and resilience that gets stronger under stress instead of cracking. I don't ask you to take that on faith. That research, and the training that comes from it, lives at the Wisdom Method™ Institute. Kellie Adkins is where the strategy happens; the Institute is where the evidence lives. Two coordinated presences, one point of view.
What I believe
Values, plainly.
- Evidence over intuition. Intuition is a hypothesis. We test it.
- Deliberate over frantic. Urgency is usually avoidance wearing a productive face.
- Whole-person over hustle. A business that costs you your health isn't optimized. It's leveraged against you.
- Discernment over volume. Fewer, better decisions. A shorter menu, chosen on purpose.
